January

Winter time for Cypriots. Autumn for our European visitors!

• occasional rain with sunshine.
• Winter clothing. You do not need heavy coats
• Outdoor activities and excursions can be enjoyed.

February:

A little unpredictable. You can get exceptionally warm days, occasional rain, with mild day time temperatures .Almond trees in bloom. It can be quite cold however in the evenings.

• Light Winter clothes.
• Conditions are ideal for snow skiing on Troodos mountain
• Sometimes the Swallows arrive early.

March:

Better than February but there may be a few cool days There is a possibility of exceptionally warm days

• Spring clothing.
• Spring is definitely with us. Great weather for walking. Not too hot!
• The Swallows arrive

April, May:

Days are pleasantly warm, but temperatures may fall a little at night.

• Medium-weight and summer clothing: Light woollies or long sleeved cotton for the evenings.
• Excellent season for those who prefer to enjoy nature, as the countryside is green and flowers are in blossom.
  

June, July, August:

Warmest months of summer

• Very light weight summer clothing.
• Ideal for swimming and all beach/water activities.
  

September, October:

Warm days, cool October evenings.

• Light weight clothing for the day and medium-weight for the evenings in October.
• Swimming and water-sports are still at their best.
  

November:

Pleasantly warm days

• Medium-weight aclothing. Light Woollies.

• Ideal weather for autumn travel. Lunches in the open-air still possible. Sunbathing and even swimming can still be enjoyed, as well as most outdoor sports.
  

December:

Winter time for Cypriots... Autumn for visitors!
It may rain occasionally yet we still get some wonderful sunshine.
